The Capitol Little League Board every month on the fourth Tues at 6 PM October to February and  on the second Sunday of the month at 6 PM March to September. We are currently meeting at Mills & Mills on 5725 Littlerock Rd SW as they provide us with a free meeting space.  You may bring food and beverages to the meeting.There are several open “in training” positions on the board including:

  • Treasurer
  • Registrar
  • Webmaster/Information Officer
  • Scheduler
  • Divisional uniform coordinators 

In addition, we would like to have a representative for EACH division on the board to act as liaison between the divisions and the board, providing input about the division’s equipment, training and other resource needs. This can be a manager, coach or other volunteer.

Current board members may be switching to other positions which could also create other openings.  

The Little League Charter requires the league to have the following officers:

  • President
  • Vice President (may have more than one)
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Safety Officer
  • Coaching Coordinator
  • Umpire in Chief
  • Concessions Coordinator
  • Player agent (may have more than one)
  • Information Officer
  • Member at Large (may have several)

If you are interested in any of the positions or in just attending meetings to provide input, please let me know.  I can send you a job description or discuss the positon with you.   Board members must also complete the volunteer application and a background check (if they haven’t already done so) each year. The board elects the board officers each year.  To provide stability to transitions, key positions require a mentoring period by the outgoing officer.
