Hello Capitol Little League Families,

Opening Day is almost here, and we’re excited to kick off the season with all of you this Saturday!

With games scheduled across all 8 fields starting at 9 am, we’ll have all 16 Capitol Little League teams participating in our Opening Day ceremony.

📍 Arrival & Line-Up

• All teams should be lined up on Field 4 by 8:40 AM sharp (please note this is earlier than in past years).
• Coaches, please help organize and line up your teams upon arrival.
• Players and coaches should report early to their playing field, store gear, prep field if needed and report to Field 4 by 8:40 AM 

🎉 Opening Ceremony Includes:

• Raising of the flag
• National Anthem 
• Player & Parent Pledges
• First Pitch
• Announcement of the 2026 Hat Pin Contest Winner

We’ll also take a moment to recognize our Capitol Little League Board Members, many of whom you’ll see coaching, umpiring, and supporting CLL throughout the season.

🎟️ Raffle & Silent Auction
Be sure to check out our raffle and silent auction! Raffle and silent auction items will be on display near the concession stand all day. Raffle tickets are available for purchase at the concession stand for $1 each - bring cash! Winners will be drawn after our last game; no need to be present to win! Our silent auction will run for one full week, with winning bids announced via email on Sunday, April 26th.

We’re looking forward to a fun and memorable Opening Day with our entire Capitol Little League community. Thank you for helping us start the season strong!

NOTE: Due to the size of our league, we physically can't have everyone at our opening ceremony. 
However, EVERY Saturday during Spring Season, we will have the teams playing at 9 AM participate in a short ceremony of the National Anthem and Little League Pledges.
