Online registration for Spring 2023 will open on December 1, 2022.
Registration will close on January 31, 2023. THERE IS A WAIT LIST REGISTRATION OPEN UNTIL FEB 10--you may sign up but placement on teams is not guaranteed.
JR and SR divisions will remain open until March 8.
Payment will be made on sign up. There will be a choice of full payment or a payment plan.
Payment plan is $50 on sign up with 2 additional payments on JAN 10 and FEB 10, 2023.
Player Age for Division eligibility is based on player's age as of AUGUST 31, 2023

Grants and scholarships
T-Mobile grants (see link). T-Mobile funds from 2023 have been obligated.
Dick’s Sporting Goods also has a grant process (see link) that helps with registration fees and equipment. Dick's grant funds have been obligagted.

Equipment Bank
Capitol Little League has an equipment bank of gently used gloves, baseball shoes, batting gloves, batting helmets and some other equipment. This equipment will be at the player evaluation and uniform fitting FEB 11 and 25 and is available thru out the Spring and Fall season. We welcome donations of out grown, gently used equipment as well.

Upper Division Draft (Minors and above) MARCH 4, 2023 1 PM at Tumwater Valley Athletic Club Studio 2.
Lower Division Placement (AA & Machine Pitch) MARCH 5, 2023 location 1 PM at Tumwater Valley Athletic Club Studio 2.
First practices—March 11 and after. Expect 2 practices per week one weeknight and one weekend prior to games starting on April 10. Expect 1 practice per week after games start.

The schedule for post season district, state and regional tournaments has not been released.
But we expect first tournament to start weekend of June 17.
Players will be selected from Spring teams for post season play by June 1, 2022.
2023Player Evaluations
T-BALL OR AA MACHINE PITCH PLAYERS DO NOT HAVE A PLAYER EVALUATION.
Players league age 8 and above wanting to be considered for kid pitch must have a pre-season evaluation.
Players from Spring 2022 teams are considered "property players" unless they request a different team/coach on registration.
Players moving up from AA machine pitch to Minor Kid pitch will require a player evaluation even if moving up with same team-this is to determine readiness to play in kid pitch division.
Players league age 10 requesting placement in Majors will require a player evaluation even if moving up with same team--this is to determine readiness to play in Majors (U12).
Players requesting a release from their Spring 2022 team will require a player evaluation to enter the draft as free agent.
Players league age 8 & above new to Capitol Little League requesting placement in kid pitch divisions will require a player evaluation.
Player evaluations will be held FEB 11 & 25 at Peter G. Schmidt Elementary.
