Brief Opening Ceremony SAT April 13

The Capitol Little League board decided we missed our opening ceremony each Spring.

WE wish EVERY one of our 70 teams could participate at 9 AM tomorrow but due to the size of our league, limited parking and logistics we just could not do the old-fashioned "all hands on deck".

So this year we are going to have a brief opening ceremony for the teams that play at 9 AM ONLY.
This will take place at our Capitol Little League complex at 7700 New Market SW Tumwater.

The teams playing 9 AM Games on April 13 and participating in the "parade" and Field 4 ceremony are:

AA McKinney Mariners vs AA Considine Bears
AA Stricklett Tigers vs AA Hubbard Sandlot
Minor Mcdonnell Raptors vs Minor Carson Cougars
Minor Garbe Yard Goats vs Minor Singer Rangers
Major Phillies vs Major Clark Trash Pandas
T-Ball Woodring Storm Chasers vs T-Bal Marson Marlins

We had considered trying to do this ceremony at subsequent times during the day on April 13 but after considering the amount of activity and disruption that would cause, we determined having the activity at the 9 AM game ONLY was the best option.

We are going to attempt to do this each SAT at the 9 AM game so more teams can participate. This may be a week to week decision based on weather conditions for the specific Saturday.
