T-Ball (U6)
2023 Fee--$140
League age is determined by the player's age as of August 31, 2023. No player under league age 4 may play Little League.
No player evaluations are held for T-Ball.
Uniform fitting will be held during the kid pitch evaluation events on FEB 11 & FEB 25 at Peter G Schmidt.
- Player’s league age 6 have a choice between AA (machine pitch) and T-Ball.
- We strongly urge parents to place league age 6 in AA especially those who have played team sports previously, but parents can make the determination. After practices start, should parents/coaches determine player should be in AA every effort will be made to make that change BUT it must be done before uniforms are ordered MARCH 16.
Player’s league age 4 & 5 MUST play T-Ball by Little League rule. This is because children this age would be a safety issue playing against AA players up to age 8.
- Players in this division may play inter-league games with other Little Leagues in our area. All games will be at our complex.
-
- Games--There will be games virtually every Saturday during the season. Each team can expect up to 3 weeknight games during the season. There is no mid-season or season ending tournament.
-
- Score is not kept in this division. It is a developmental, learning division.
-
Rules in this division require a continuous batting order--all players present bat once each inning. All players present may play in field on defense. This division uses 60 ft base paths and 46 feet from mound to plate. GAMES WILL BE 75 MINUTES LONG.
Practices for this division may be held on Lacey & Olympia School District fields IF we don't have enough practice field capacity at Capitol Little League complex. Fields used in the past have been Boston Harbor, McLane, McKenney, Centennial, Garfield, Woodland Park and others Lacey fields. ALL Games will be at our complex in Tumwater.
