2025 Coed Baseball and Girls Softball

Thanks to ALL the players, parents, coaches and umpires for a really great Fall Softball and Baseball experience.

Capitol Little League will be offering BOTH Coed Baseball and Girls Softball in Spring 2025!

For Softball--Little League League age is the player age as of  December 31, 2024.

Currently we plan to open signups between November 1 and December 1, 2024 and close sign ups on January 31, 2025.

Challenger signups will open at the same time and close later in 2025. Challenger games are usually on Sunday afternoons starting late April /early May (weather dependent) to beginning of September with no games on Holiday weekends.

Player evaluations will be held on February 8 and February 22 at Peter G Schmidt Elementary for players wanting to play kid pitch divisions.

Uniform fitting will be held on February 8 & 22 for ALL players in the commons at Peter G. Schmidt.

Our equipment bank will be available both dates at the player evaluation/uniform fitting times.

We have not set our player fees for 2025 Spring Softball but plan to have that decided in the next few days.

Our fees for coed baseball will remain the same as 2024 fees $150 for Tee Ball and AA; $230 for kid pitch divisions with $10 per player dedicated to our new fields fund.

We normally provide a full uniform for ALL spring players--hat/visor, personalized jersey, pants, belt and sox.
AA and Tee Ball players receive elastic waist pants so we don't provide belts for that division.

As always, there will be scholarships available from the league as well as T-Mobile and Dick's Sporting Goods Grants--more information about those will be posted on the website when we receive notification of grant application dates.

We plan to have teams in the following Girls Softball Divisions:

Tee Ball U6 (ages 4 to 6) (if we get enough players otherwise this will be coed baseball)
AA Coach Pitch U8 (ages 6 to 8)
Minor U10 (ages 8 to 10)
Major U12 (ages 10 to 12)

We plan to have teams in the following Coed Baseball Divisions:
Tee Ball U6 (ages 4 to 6)
AA Coach Pitch U8 (ages 6 to 8)
Minor U10 (ages 8 to 10)
Major U12 (ages 10 to 12)
Intermediate U13 (ages 11 to 13)
JR U14 (ages 12 to 14)
SR U16 (ages 13 to 16)--if we don't get enough signups in this division league age 15 players can play in JR. division.

Currently the following WA District 3 Little Leagues have or plan to offer Softball for 2025-
Elma
Larch Mt. (Tenino/Rochester)
Montesano

Currently all leagues in WA District 3 Little League have or plan to offer ALL divisions except SR for Coed Baseball 2025.
These leagues are exploring SR division:
Aberdeen
Willapa Harbor
South Beach

In Challenger Division-Montesano/Grays Harbor is the other District 3 league offering this division.

Practices may be held at our fields and various elementary school fields in our boundaries--Olympia, North Thurston, Griffin and possibly Tumwater.
Currently we plan to start practices on or about March 10, 2025.

Home games will be held at our Capitol Little League complex--away games will be at the host field.
Currently we plan to start games on or about April 12, 2025. We will take a 4 day break for Memorial Day.  Last games are set for June 7.

Post season tournaments are tentatively set to start June 14.

We will have updated information on fees and open signup dates very soon.
