Games Monday Sept 25 at Capitol Fields are rained out

After looking at the weather report for the next 24 hours, we made the difficult (or easy I guess) decision to cancel all games at the Capitol Little League fields scheduled Monday 25. Our fields are not going to hold up to 24 hours of rain.

The games at Longmire field and Fort Borst Park are NOT cancelled at this point. We will hear from them tomorrow on the field status at those sites.

The JR game scheduled for the RAC will be played as scheduled (unless the RAC advises us differently tomorrow).

It looks like a 'bumpy' ride this week weather wise--

Tuesday at this point looks only marginally better or worse than Monday.

Wednesday and Thursday look a bit better.

Friday we had no games scheduled at Capitol.

Saturday 9/30 at this point looks like decent weather and we will plan to play the games scheduled at ALL locations.

MAKEUPS --There is very little time left in our season which ends September 30 to find dates/fields and umpires (if needed) for reschedules.

There may be a game or two we can find a date and field that will work later this week.

We need to shut down our field and begin the fall maintenance week of October 2.
